stake.eu, stake.com and stake.us share the Stake name, but they are three separate sites. This comparison sets the stake.eu terms against the stake.com terms, both read on 26.10.2026. The stake.us details follow once we have been able to read and date its terms.
Who runs stake.eu, stake.com and stake.us
stake.eu is run by Sweepstakes Services Limited (IBC 18110, Antigua and Barbuda) (Terms 1), as stated in section 1 of its terms. Payments go through Minmarge Limited (HE 489600, Cyprus) (Terms 1), also named in section 1. Those two companies are the ones in the stake.eu contract, and no others.
stake.com names its own operator in section 1 of its terms: Medium Rare N.V. (Curaçao, licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority) (stake.com terms, section 1). It is a different company, based in Curaçao and holding a gambling licence that stake.eu, as a sweepstakes casino, does not need. stake.us also names its own company, which we add once its terms are recorded. SteakEU does not link to either site.
A frequent mistake online: some pages say stake.eu belongs to the company that runs stake.com. That does not match section 1 of the stake.eu terms. If you want to know who is behind stake.eu, read the stake.eu terms themselves, not a summary written about another Stake site.
Whether the companies behind the three sites are linked, and how, does not appear in the stake.eu terms. SteakEU therefore says nothing about it.
Switching from stake.com: what changes
The table at the top compares operator, model, coins and countries. Players coming from stake.com usually ask something else: what happens to my account, my VIP status, my rakeback? Here are the stake.eu answers, each with its source. Where stake.eu says nothing official, the table says so.
| Topic | On stake.eu |
|---|---|
| Account | Its own terms and its own verification: an ID document and a proof of address (Terms 4.1). stake.eu does not say whether a stake.com account works there. Plan for verification. |
| VIP status | Its own tiers by wagered volume: Bronze 10,000 · Silver 50,000 · Gold 100,000 · Platinum 250,000 · Diamond 25 million wagered (VIP Club). stake.eu describes no transfer of a stake.com tier anywhere. |
| Rakeback | 3.5% of the house edge on every bet (Help: Rakeback). Rakeback is usually switched on automatically when you sign up through a partner streamer or affiliate (Help: Rakeback) |
| Playthrough | 3× playthrough on all Stake Cash, except Stake Cash won in promotional play (Terms 13.1 c). Applies before any Stake Cash redemption. |
| Buying | SEPA direct debit, credit card, PayPal, Sofort and crypto (Terms 27.1). Crypto is included, but Gold Coins are not a balance like on stake.com. |
| Redeeming | by bank transfer (help centre; the terms also list crypto) (Help: Umtausch, AGB 13.2), one redemption request processed per 24 hours (Terms 13.5). The currency you bought with shapes how you redeem. |
The VIP tiers and their benefits, and the redemption steps, are explained in SteakEU’s German guides: VIP club on stake.eu (in German) and how to redeem Stake Cash (in German).
Virtual coins or real money: the models compared
stake.eu is a sweepstakes casino with two virtual coins. Gold Coins are the play coin: Gold Coins have no cash value and cannot be redeemed (Terms 8). Stake Cash is the second coin, and the terms state: Stake Cash can never be bought (Terms 8.1 b). Stake Cash comes from these sources: daily bonus, social media giveaways, postcard requests and Stake Cash added to some Gold Coin packs (Terms 8.2, 8.3).
A real-money online casino works differently. You deposit money, play for money and withdraw winnings as money, with no play coin in between.
That is the model the stake.com terms describe: real-money casino and sports betting under a Curaçao licence (stake.com terms, section 1). The stake.us model follows once its terms are recorded. One point matters already: even where two Stake sites use similar coin names, the same name does not mean the same rules, the same value or the same limits. On stake.eu, only the stake.eu terms count, and a guide written for stake.us says nothing reliable about stake.eu.
Where each site is open
The stake.eu terms set where the site is open in section 2.1: Germany only (Terms 2.1). Every other country is excluded, including Austria, Switzerland and France. Stake has announced no date for any other country.
stake.com keeps its own list of excluded countries in section 14.3 of its terms: 46 countries and regions excluded, including Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the United States (stake.com terms, section 14.3). For Germany that means: the stake.com terms list Germany among the Prohibited Jurisdictions (section 14.3) (stake.com terms, section 14.3). We quote the terms as written, without legal assessment. Which countries stake.us covers is set by its own terms, which we have not recorded yet.
The country table on our home page shows where stake.eu is open today and which countries are only being watched, with no date announced. For players in Germany, the overview of what the stake.eu terms say about Germany (in German) covers the operator, the country rule and the player protection tools, without any legal assessment.
Redeeming prizes: the stake.eu rules
The value of Stake Cash at redemption is set in section 13.4 of the stake.eu terms: 1 SC = €1 of prize value (Terms 13.4). Before that, the playthrough rule applies: 3× playthrough.
Further rules apply to the redemption itself. stake.eu processes one redemption request processed per 24 hours. On the maximum: no maximum; large amounts can be paid in instalments (Terms 13.5 d). The currency rule also applies: You redeem in the same currency type you bought with (fiat or crypto) until your SC balance is back to zero (Terms 7.3 c).
Two points are left open. On the minimum, a minimum is foreseen but not specified in the terms (Terms 13.3). On fees: "reasonable" fees may apply, not specified (Terms 13.3).
SteakEU does not compare redemption on stake.com or stake.us: stake.com, as a real-money casino, pays out a balance under its own rules, and the stake.us figures are not recorded yet. The step-by-step guide on how to redeem Stake Cash on stake.eu (in German) covers the full process.
Why figures about Stake contradict each other online
Several sites carry the Stake name, among them stake.eu, stake.com and stake.us. Each of these sites has its own terms. A bonus, a playthrough rule or a limit published for stake.com or stake.us therefore does not apply to stake.eu. Many articles mix these sites together.
Four questions help you check a claim about stake.eu. Does the text name the exact domain stake.eu? Does it name the operator from the stake.eu terms? Is the page dated? Does it point to the stake.eu terms or help centre? If one of these is missing, be careful.
SteakEU backs every figure on this page with the terms of the site concerned and the date of the check. The method page explains how, and the page on how SteakEU earns explains why there are no affiliate links on the English pages.
Which site applies to you: by where you live
Which Stake site applies to you depends on the country where you live. The table below sets out what the stake.eu terms say. It is not a recommendation of any site.
| Where you live | What the stake.eu terms say |
|---|---|
| Germany | stake.eu is the Stake site whose terms name Germany (section 2.1). |
| Austria, Switzerland | Excluded under section 2.1; no date announced. |
| France | Excluded under section 2.1; Stake has announced no date for France. |
| Belgium | Excluded under section 2.1. SteakEU does not address players in Belgium. |
| United States | Excluded under section 2.1. Which site covers the US is set by the stake.us terms. |
| Anywhere else | Excluded under section 2.1. |
The same rule from section 23.1 applies to every country except Germany: using stake.eu from an excluded country can lead to the account being closed. SteakEU does not point players from those countries to stake.com, stake.us or any other site. Players in Germany will find the stake.eu guide for Germany (in German).
