How the commission works
SteakEU is a member of the stake.eu affiliate programme. When a player creates a stake.eu account through a SteakEU link, Stake recognises that the player came from SteakEU and pays SteakEU a commission. The amount depends on our partner agreement with Stake.
The commission is how SteakEU pays for its work: reading the terms and the help centre, checking every figure, dating it and writing the guides in each language. Readers do not pay for anything on SteakEU, and there is no subscription or paid area.
SteakEU works with stake.eu only. It has no affiliate account with stake.com and never links to stake.com. stake.com and stake.eu are different sites, run by different companies under different rules, so a commission from one says nothing about the other. If you see a page elsewhere that mixes the two, that page is not from SteakEU.
You can find more about who runs the site on the about page and in the legal notice.
What changes for you, and what does not
Signing up through a SteakEU link costs you nothing. You pay no fee to SteakEU and nothing extra to stake.eu. The commission comes out of Stake’s side of the business, not out of your account or your purchases.
The welcome offer is the one stake.eu sets. In Germany, it is 20 SC (€20 of prize value) after verifying your account and e-mail, sent by e-mail within 48 hours (confirmed by stake.eu on 16.10.2026). No bonus code is needed in Germany. SteakEU has no extra offer, on Telegram or anywhere else, so what you get is the standard stake.eu offer.
What does not change: your account, your purchases and any redemption of prizes are handled by stake.eu alone, under the stake.eu terms. SteakEU has no access to your account and cannot change anything in it.
If you play, set your own limits first. The responsible gaming page explains how.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear only on the pages of a country where stake.eu is open, which today means Germany. The English pages carry no affiliate links at all. Pages for France carry none while France is not open, and SteakEU never links to stake.eu for Belgium or targets Belgium in any way.
Each affiliate button on SteakEU is marked “Affiliate link” (in German: “Werbung · Affiliate-Link”), passes through a short redirect on our own domain and carries the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, so search engines and readers can see it is advertising. A page carries three such buttons at most.
Many pages carry no affiliate link by design:
- the guides that explain the sweepstakes model in general;
- every tool and calculator;
- the legal and trust pages, including this one;
- the comparison of stake.eu and stake.com, and the page on legal status.
The glossary (in German) explains what an affiliate link is.
What the commission does not influence
The commission does not decide what SteakEU writes. Every figure comes from the stake.eu terms, the official help centre, an official stake.eu page or a dated confirmation from Stake. No figure is rounded up or made to look better than the source.
The limits of stake.eu are written as clearly as its advantages. Two examples from the terms: for redeeming prizes, a minimum is foreseen but not specified in the terms (Terms 13.3), and SteakEU says so instead of guessing a number. The terms contradict each other on refunds (7.2 a vs 8.2 b) (Terms 7.2 a, 8.2 b), and SteakEU states both clauses without promising a refund.
There are no paid ratings and no paid rankings. SteakEU covers stake.eu only and does not compare it commercially with other operators, so there is no list of casinos ordered by what they pay.
The method page explains how we check facts, how often we check them again and how you can report a mistake.
SteakEU is not Stake
SteakEU is an independent guide. It is not owned, run or approved by Stake. The only link between SteakEU and Stake is the affiliate programme described on this page.
SteakEU has its own visual identity. It does not use the Stake logo, Stake colours or elements of the Stake interface, and it does not present itself as an official Stake site or channel. Any page, account or message that claims to be “SteakEU on behalf of Stake” is not from us.
For a problem with your stake.eu account, your identity verification or a redemption, only stake.eu support can help. You can reach it through the official stake.eu help centre (in German). SteakEU has no access to player accounts and cannot act on them, but our guides explain the rules that apply.
The publisher of SteakEU is named in the legal notice, with its contact details.
Clicks and data
When you click an affiliate button on a SteakEU country page, a short redirect on our domain sends you on to stake.eu. That redirect counts the click: it records the country, the position of the button on the page, the page you came from and the time. It records no IP address and no browser details, and it builds no profile of you.
These counts tell SteakEU which pages and buttons people use, nothing more. The English pages never send you through this redirect, because they carry no affiliate links.
Once you arrive on stake.eu, stake.eu processes your data under its own privacy policy, published on stake.eu.
The privacy policy describes in full what SteakEU processes, including cookies, the country banner and the click count.
If you have questions about this page, the about page explains how to reach us, and the author page shows who writes the guides.
