What SteakEU is
SteakEU is an independent guide to a single product: stake.eu, the sweepstakes casino run by Sweepstakes Services Limited (IBC 18110, Antigua and Barbuda) (Terms 1). The site is organised in one folder per country, written in the language of that country. The German folder covers Germany, where stake.eu is open. A French folder is being prepared and is not public. The English pages at the root of the site serve readers across Europe.
What sets SteakEU apart is how figures are handled. Every amount, rule and limit on the site comes from an official source, such as the stake.eu terms or help centre, and is shown with that source and the date it was last checked. When the official source does not give a value, SteakEU says so instead of filling the gap.
SteakEU is not stake.eu and it is not stake.com. It never links to stake.com, which is a separate site run by a different company under different rules.
Why SteakEU exists
The sweepstakes model is new in Europe. In a sweepstakes casino you play with two virtual coins: one for fun, and one that can be redeemed for prizes under the operator’s rules. Very few sites explain this model clearly in German or in French, and some of the pages that do exist get basic facts wrong, such as the name of the operator or whether a launch has already happened.
SteakEU was created to be the accurate, dated reference on stake.eu: for players who want to understand the rules before they sign up, and for search engines and AI assistants that need a source they can quote. That means reading the terms clause by clause, citing the section, and correcting a page as soon as a source changes.
If you are new to the model, start with how sweepstakes casinos work (in German), which explains it without focusing on any single operator.
What we cover
SteakEU covers stake.eu only, country by country, following the official list of countries in the stake.eu terms. Today, Germany only (Terms 2.1). France, Austria and Switzerland are followed, but nothing has been announced for them and SteakEU does not present any of them as coming soon. Belgium is excluded on purpose: SteakEU does not cover or target Belgium, and shows it for information only, with no links to stake.eu.
For each open country, SteakEU publishes:
- guides to signing up, verification, the welcome offer, Gold Coins, Stake Cash and redeeming prizes;
- a section that explains the sweepstakes model in neutral terms, without promoting any operator;
- tools that run in your browser, such as calculators and a limit planner;
- a dated log of what has changed on stake.eu and in our facts.
The English pages give an overview and link to the detailed pages in the language of each country.
What we never do
Some content is common on gambling sites and will never appear on SteakEU, whatever it might bring in traffic. SteakEU never publishes:
- predictors or so-called seed crackers;
- winning strategies or systems;
- prize simulators;
- guides to exploiting bonuses;
- rankings of the biggest wins;
- scores that reward intensive play;
- aggressive e-mail capture or pop-ups.
SteakEU also never places an affiliate link for a country where stake.eu is not open, and never targets Belgium, on the site or on social media.
SteakEU does not imitate Stake. It uses its own name, colours and design, and no Stake logo or interface elements, so that nobody mistakes it for an official Stake site.
Responsible play is part of every page: an 18+ badge and a link to free help appear throughout the site, and the responsible gaming page explains how to set limits.
Who is behind SteakEU
SteakEU is an independent project and does not belong to Stake. The publisher and contact details are in the legal notice.
The guides are written and checked by the SteakEU author, who works in iGaming affiliation. The author page sets out the author’s background, role at SteakEU and way of working.
Every page is read and approved by a person before it is published. That review is part of the process described on the method page, which also explains how figures are sourced, dated and checked again.
SteakEU does not use stock photos or AI-generated portraits to represent the people behind the site. Where a picture of the author is shown, it is a real photo or simply the author’s initials.
Contact and channels
You can reach SteakEU by e-mail at contact@stakequebec.com. The legal notice lists all the publisher’s contact details.
If you have found a mistake on a page, the method page explains what to send so that we can check it quickly: the address of the page, the figure or sentence concerned and the source that contradicts it. Corrections of substance are listed in a public correction log.
For a problem with your stake.eu account, your verification or a redemption, only stake.eu support can help. You can reach it through the official stake.eu help centre (in German). SteakEU has no access to player accounts.
To understand how the site is funded, read how SteakEU earns its commission. If gambling is causing you problems, the responsible gaming page lists where to find free help.
